Reiki Healing - The Energy in your Hands

Reiki is practiced by “laying one's hands on” or touching important points on the individual to transfer healing energy from the Universe. An unseen “cosmic energy” flows through all of us and we are alive because of this cosmic energy. The Reiki practitioner acts as a channel, allows this energy to flow through his/her body and directs it to the receiver - it is believed that Reiki energy intuitively goes where it is required the most.

What is Reiki Healing?

The word Rei-ki is made of two Japanese words –

Rei which means “cosmic” and

Ki which is “energy”.

So Reiki is actually cosmic energy. It is present in universe in abundance. It can be given at any time. Reiki is a simple and safe healing method for releasing stress caused due to studies, career, finance, relationships, health and surrounding. 

 

It gives relaxation that promotes healing on all levels, whether it’s physical, mental, emotional or spiritual. It gives peace, positivity, patience and trust in self. It also makes recovery faster if its added to the routine treatment.

Reiki has 3 levels

Reiki Level 1: Self Healing and preparation for healing of others

Reiki Level 2: Healing others using Reiki symbols and Distance Healing

Reiki Level 3: Master Healer and Master Teacher Course

A Reiki treatment feels like you  have received a  wonderful gift of cosmic energy  that flows through and around you, removes toxins from your body and blesses you with positive energy.

In Reiki class, no pre-preparation is required. Anyone is ready to learn Reiki anytime. 

Reiki is never self-taught; it’s transferred from a Master to a student.  This process is called attunement. During attunement, students get to see colours and visions which are messages from universe for their spiritual paths. The master guides the students to interpret those messages. Some students also feel warmth and vibration in their body, which is a sign that energy is being received by them. The experience is a beautiful experience and needs to be felt, to be able to realise its magic.

Students are advised to bring a notepad or a diary to make notes of these feelings and/or visions as they contain important messages for their life. They may not relate these messages to their current situation but they will be able to connect the messages later in life.

Reiki Treatment

Reiki Training - Introduction

A Reiki training course attunes you to the divine cosmic Reiki energy via your Reiki Master. Reiki has many benefits for the client or recipient but also has many benefits for the student too. This is due to the ‘attunements’ which are where Reiki energy is transferred into the student's energy system and chakras with a view to opening and cleansing their chakras (energy centres). This raises their vibration, cleanses their system and opens the chakras to enable the free flow of the healing energy through their upper body, arms and hands.

After attunement, you learn how to sense the flow of Reiki through your body, different Reiki symbols, concepts and teachings.

With Reiki level 1, you become a Reiki practitioner and can immediately start healing yourself. As Reiki Level 1 Practitioner, you are to practice Reiki healing on yourself for 21 days, after which, you will be ready to take Reiki Level 2 attunement.

Reiki Level 2 involves the use of Reiki symbols for self and others’ healing. 

Reiki works on the following five principles, ensuring that the practitioner’s humility and balance are in place.

The 5 Principles of Reiki

  1. Just for today, I will not be angry. (Letting go of anger brings peace)

  2. Just for today, I will not worry. (Letting go of worry brings trust)

  3. Just for today, I am grateful. (Being grateful brings contentment)

  4. Just for today, I will do my work honestly. (Doing honest work brings purpose)

  5. Just for today, I will be kind to every living thing. (Being kind brings unconditional love)

The Reiki Grand Master Course

(Level 3 - Teaching & Master Attunement)

When the student has completed all the levels of Reiki and is ready to teach these levels to others, then he should study Reiki Level III course.

You will learn what it means to be a Reiki Master and how Reiki masters you, and not the other way around. We prepare you for your Reiki Master attunement.

We cover the importance of symbols in Reiki and why there are different versions of the Reiki symbols. We introduce you to the Reiki Master symbol, how to draw it and how to use it, as well as an alternative version. We also give other symbols that some Reiki Masters use, such as the Tibetan Master symbol and Fire Dragon symbol.

You’ll gain a deeper understanding of what attunements are and how they work. You will learn the basic format of attunements and the different attunement styles, and how to perform the Hui Yin and Violet Breath. We will also guide you through preparations for the attunement ceremony for both yourself and your students. You will also learn crown to crown attunements and remote attunements.
